Cy's surgery was canceled for the time being, but he is awake and accepting visitors. He seems a little nervous and is welcoming well-wishers.
(I haven't seen him today; I get this news from Kerry on the telephone. Heading out there now...)

Dammit! I cannot visit Cy until Saturday. Would someone please tell him he is constantly in my thoughts and I will see him soon.

Good evening! Cy, your friend Nancy was telling me about you. I am buying a Reebok Step from Nancy that she posted on Craigslist. Anyway, she noticed that I am a Physician Assistant student at Duke University, thus telling me about you and sending this link! I just wanted to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers! I've read the blogs that several of your friends have posted and you sound like an awesome person and these people think the world of you! Cy, I'm glad to hear that you're feeling up to seeing people & as you can see, there are lots of people who want to see you (this site has over 2000 hits now). I know the good doctors over there are going to come up with a plan to help you beat this. Like many people, I've been thinking about you a lot & sending all good thoughts your way. If good wishes have any power, you're not going to have any trouble at all.
