Wow! If you didn't make it to the 506 last night, you missed an incredible show! Everyone was outstanding! I will be heading to the NCSECU today and dropping off $786 for the Cy Rawls Benevolence Fund! Many thanks to all the bands who played, to Glenn and all the staff at the 506, to Nick who ran great sound, and to all of you who came out.
In other news, Syd's Hair Shop is going to be having a fundraiser on Sunday, 28 September from noon until 4pm. They're calling it Haircuts for Cy. All proceeds and tips will go to the benevolence fund. There will be 7 stylists participating. Keep your eye out around town for flyers and reminders.

Oh, and by the way. If the chipin total there to the right of the blog hits $5000 by the time the Hair Stylist benefit happens, I pledge to get it all chopped off. I don't have a whole lot of hair, but I'll part with what I do have if you fork over some more cash. Don't know if that means anything to anyone, but I'm kinda hoping it peters out at 4999.99 until the 29th!
